Why having a beautiful bed matters at the end of a long day.

It's been a long day.

You're driving home from work, school, or just finishing your day. Life is not easy these days. We're all tired, overly busy, juggling everything in our lives. I always think, how can we make you feel wonderful and provide a soft landing for you. and help you create the most beautiful bed  that awaits you ,that you can dream about at the end of your day. After raising 2 kids on my own, and being exhausted at night. Just hitting the pillow was everything. I knew I could help you create this space  for all the people like me, needing a real retreat at home, this is what inspired me to create Linen Salvage et Cie.

So it started with an idea for what the little girl inside of me viewed as "princess bedding", I wanted it to be pretty ,in the softest natural textures, sumptous velvet, lots of ruffles,and I wanted all the fabrics to be natural , oh yes, and washable ( no time for dry cleaning).

I am obsessed with vintage florals and especially french toile fabrics, so adding these pretty prints to our beds was essential.

 We now have a fabric shop too, so you can create your own accessories, projects for your bedroom ,etc using our fabrics you love.

      

 So many of you have told me that when you're  in the middle of your day, that you think about your bed that awaits you and it makes you happy and gives you something to look forward to.
